During my postgraduate period I was actively involved in teaching programme for the undergraduate students including lectures and clinical teaching sessions. I have given lectures to medical students about Basic principles of fracture management, Fracture neck of femur, Non unions, Osteomyelitis and Tuberculous spine.
I have conducted clinical discussion about examination of Hip and Knee, Neurological examination, Colle’s fracture and other common clinical topics. I have taught my junior colleagues and house officers to perform common operations like DHS, K wiring, Hemiarthroplasty, Plating of radius, ulna and humerus, Nailing of tibia and femur, and External fixator.
In the United Kingdom, I have been actively participating in the weekly orthopaedic teaching sessions and monthly audit meeting. I regularly present cases and have also given talk on “Biology of fracture healing”, “Antibiotic prophylaxis in Joint Replacement” and “Role of Femothrone injection in OA knee” in postgraduate meetings.
